You want to talk about fairness? I agree that rising energy prices have the largest effect on people with lower incomes. How about all the rich ass people (including more than just the “1%”) driving around their SUV”s and campers and flying their private jets.
What if EVERYONE changed their lifestyle? I don’t get why people think living a less energy intensive life will be worse. Ride a bike, get in shape. That would be fair. The EPA isn’t trying to hurt anyone, its simply energy companies trying to frame the debate in a “it’s peoples lives against the environment” way.
modern day propaganda.

On the list of places I need to go.
I think you could fall in love with anyone if you saw the parts of them no one else gets to see. Like if you followed them around invisibly for a day and saw them crying in their bed at night or singing in the shower or humming quietly to themselves as they make a sandwich or even just walking along the street. And even if they were really weird and had no friends at school, I think, after seeing them at their most vulnerable, you wouldn’t be able to help falling in love with them.

It wasn’t just my imagination.

So I’ve been spending the past couple weeks holding it together and not understanding why people were getting so sappy and sentimental and sad about graduating. Yes there are things I will miss but overall I’m happy to be done and leaving.
But then today Matt and I saw them setting up on the turf field this morning and it suddenly hit me and now I’m being all sappy and sentimental and sad. And I’m starting to feel really panicky.
My life is awesome.
BAH. I miss this so much already.
